Understanding the Roulette wheel
Most Roulette wheels have 37 pockets, numbered 0-36. The zero pockets are green, and the rest of the numbers are either black or red. American Roulette is slightly different. It has 38 pockets. The extra pocket is a ‘double zero’ which is also green. Apart the green pocket, the rest of the pockets alternate between red and black and the number order is 0-32-15-19-4-21-2-25-17-34-6-27-13-36-11-30-8-23-10-5-24-16-33-1-20-14-31-9-22-18-29-7-28-12-35-3-26
How do you win at Online Roulette?
Your goal when playing Roulette is to guess which pocket the ball will land incorrectly. You can bet on single numbers, a group of single numbers, or a range of numbers such as the first 1-12 numbers, or black or red numbers. To place your bet, click on a chip and place it on the betting board. When you’re ready to begin the round, click the ‘Spin’ button.Â
The Roulette wheel will start to spin, and the ball will be spun in the opposite direction. After a short time, the ball will land in one of the wheel’s pockets, and the winning number will be announced. If you correctly guess the pocket, your winnings will be automatically calculated and added to your balance.Â
Online Roulette board layoutÂ
The betting board is split into two main betting areas, inside and outside. Outside betting options allow you to place bets on a broad range of numbers, colours and other options. Popular bets include betting on either red/black, odd/even number, or a range of numbers such as the first 12 numbers 1-12. Because betting on a broader range of numbers equals a higher chance to win, the payout is lower compared to inside bets.Â
The inside betting area allows you to bet on any individual number or a small group of numbers. Placing a chip on the corner where four numbers meet will enable you to split your bet equally between each number. Each time you place a chip on the betting board, it highlights which numbers you’ll be betting on. Feel free to experiment placing the chips on various locations to see which numbers you can bet on. You can also see all the betting options in our betting table below.Â
